Résumé

The Covid-19 situation severely affects different walks of life, especially service sector, Manufacturing sector, Tourism, Education, Transportation etc. The agricultural sector comparatively less affected. Visakhapatnam is no exemption from this situation. But There is a remarkable impact in certain areas in Agriculture in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. In Visakhapatnam district, Paddy is the major crop occupies 1 lakh hectares, It requires huge quantity of inputs, labor and needs timely marketing facilities. The study reflects that, the income level decreased by 11% during Covid -19 situation. The percentage increase in labor cost increased by 19% during Covid situation. The percentage increase in cost of cultivation in Paddy increased by 14% during Covid situation. With regard to Constraints, the major constraints observed are non availability of Labor, Reduction in labor working hours per day, Non availability of inputs, Late receipt of amount for sold produce, Exploitation of Middlemen, Non availability of advisory support, Lack of government support and Poor marketing facilities.

Résumé

Viral diseases like Covid-19 are infectious and attack human respiratory system. During this time, places such as the hospital, supermarket and stations where crowds gather are at high risk of contamination. People in the vicinity of these areas can spread the virus not only through physical contact but also by touching articles or objects which are prone to contamination. This is why a device that can clean those infected areas without spreading it to others is much needed. To help mitigate this infectious disease the project was created to build a disinfectant robot that can be used remotely without heavy maintenance and has only one major installation cost and no continuous costs. That is the reason behind selecting the method of UV lamps to help sanitize public areas that can be extended to any type of public space at low cost and to decontaminate the area without the use of sprayers or reagents. All of these virus cleansers come in the form of aerosolized sprays or solutions but cannot be used everywhere particularly to clean garment factories or industrial surfaces. So, the UV lamps were finally selected that will be installed on a movable base automatically. © 2022 IEEE.

Résumé

Objective: To assess the impact of a clinic-based quality improvement initiative upon aspirin screening and prescription rates for preeclampsia prophylaxis Study Design: Utilizing DMAIC (Define-Measure-Assess-Improve-Control) methodology, key informant interview data were used to identify gaps and potential solutions for suboptimal aspirin screening and prescription. The initiative included provider education on eligibility criteria;workflow changes such as aspirin screening by ancillary staff, automated electronic medical record reminders and inclusion of aspirin screening criteria in clinic note templates;and standardized patient counseling. Patients were included in the analysis if they were >18 years old, English speaking, and < 28 weeks gestation at initial prenatal visit. The primary outcome was aspirin screening rate for new OB patients seen January-June 2021 (post-initiative) compared to September 2019-February 2020 (pre-initiative). We selected a pre-initiative time period remote from the post-initiative period to avoid confounding from workflow changes during the COVID pandemic. Bivariate comparisons assessed demographic differences across groups. Multivariable regression models controlling for race and insurance compared aspirin screening and prescription rates across time periods. Provider literacy was also compared pre- and post-intervention. Results: The 138 patients in the post-initiative group differed in race and insurance status from the 136 patients in the pre-initiative group (Table 1). Screening rate for the post-initiative group was 92.0% vs 62.5% for the pre-initiative group (Table 2;aOR 7.00, 95% CI 3.34-14.67). 85.7% of patients eligible for aspirin received a prescription post-initiative vs 36.8% of patients pre-initiative (aOR 10.13, 95% CI 5.11-20.09). Providers could name more eligibility criteria post-initiative vs pre-initiative (data not shown;5.85 vs 9.77, p< 0.001). Conclusion: This quality improvement initiative significantly augmented aspirin screening and prescription, which can lead to decreased maternal morbidity from preeclampsia. Résumé

The paper presents long-run changes in agricultural labour market and its effects on farm economy. Further, the effect of COVID-19 led disequilibrium in labour market on cost of cultivation of paddy and wheat has been quantified. The evidence from both census and NSSO surveys point out rising employment diversification towards non-farm sectors. Census estimates of agricultural labour are higher than NSSO estimates which is partly explained by adoption of different 'minor' time criteria by these sources to identify marginal/subsidiary labour. Census based evidences suggest distress-led transition of cultivators to agricultural labours, whereas NSSO surveys based evidences refute such trends and point out towards development-led employment diversification wherein both cultivators and agricultural labours move towards more productive non-farm sectors. The recent NSSO survey (2017-18) reveals deceleration in withdrawal of cultivators and acceleration in withdrawal of agricultural labours. Successive cost of cultivation surveys also report a consistent decline in labour use in crop cultivation and therefore externally validate the trends from NSSO surveys. However, despite reduction in labour use, labour cost has increased. Due to inelastic demand for labour, increase in wages could not bring proportionate decrease in labour use and resulted in increase in labour cost in crop cultivation. Short-term disequilibrium in labour supply caused due to COVID-19 led lockdown increased cost A1+FL by 1.1 per cent in wheat and 4.6 per cent in paddy. However, farmers in Bihar did not witness any benefit on account of increased labour supply due to large scale reverse migration.

Résumé

We try to identify the impact of innovation headways and its rapid affect in each field of life, be it clinical or some other field;computerized reasoning deployed the prominent approach for indicating the authenticated outcomes in the field of medical services through its dynamic nature in investigating the information. COVID-19 has influenced all the nations around the globe in a short period of time duration;Individuals everywhere over the world are defenceless, against its results in the future. It is necessary to build up a control framework that will distinguish the Covid. One of the answers for control the flow ruin can be the conclusion of illness with the assistance of different artificial intelligence instruments. In this paper, we ordered literary clinical reports into four classes by utilizing old style and troupe AI calculations. Feature designing was performed utilizing procedures like Term recurrence/reverse archive recurrence (TF/IDF), Bag of words (BOW) and report length. These highlights were provided to customary and troupe AI classifiers. Calculated relapse and Multinomial Naive Bayes demonstrated preferred outcomes over other ML calculations by having 96.2% testing exactness. In the future intermittent neural organization can be utilized for better exactness. © 2020, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR). All rights reserved.
